Getting on and off the Blacklists Job Recruiters Keep
We can’t help ourselves; it’s when we need to do our very best, that the pressure of it all takes over us and gives us a moment that we end up regretting. Flower Vancouver pollinated by evening guests, together with bats and moths, are possible to concentrate on scent to attract pollinators and most such flowers are white. Just for how long, we never know until we do. People are so desperate for that elusive employment prospect these days, and so anxious are they to please, that they make some cartoonish mistakes – more so these days than ever before. They usually tell themselves that anyone is entitled to a mistake or two, and they just have to learn to do better next time. But is the employment market that understanding anymore? More and more, the answer to that question seems to be in the negative, as hiring managers and job recruiters get a huge pool of highly educated potential employees to pick from, and can reject anyone who doesn’t meet their high standards by even a hair. And when they get really annoyed (which they can apparently afford to be often these days) they go and add the name of the offending party to their dreaded black books.
I saw this happen at a job networking fair a month ago in San Francisco. There were three job recruiters doing interviews among the participating job hopefuls. Everything was going very well with this one out-of-work programmer, and the recruiters thought they had their man. Find out more about our Florist Vancouver and wedding floristry services. So one of them, as a winding-down question, happened to mention to the applicant that he would have to show up for a physical exam if he was picked. The programmer thought to end on a funny note, and said, “Thanks for the heads up; I’ll have to contact a friend for the usual urine sample”. The job recruiters were aghast; and that poor programmer got on three blacklists at the same time. They promise never, ever to use him ever again.
